BAISAAN is a half-experiental project to redesign and digitalise traditions of visiting a tomb or grave. ‘Bai Saan’ is the pronunciation of ‘visiting a grave’ in Cantonese, or ‘tomb sweeping’ in Chinese tradition. Users can create profiles of their loved ones in heaven under their own BAISAAN accounts. There is no limitations on the object of the memorial profile, users can create memorials for the ancestors, late pets and even old toys. We believe our platform is one of the ways to show our loves and respects in the age of digitalisation.
